Title: Round up Listing - Please read before posting an event

If you are going to have a camp out or are planning a roundup, there are some things that you can do to make these events stand out more on the forum. Trucker just informed me about how this works.

You can go to the Calender  link in the main menu where you will see Post an Event
Fill out the first page, then continue to the second page. There is a section on this second page where you can put information about the event and it will post to the Roundups - Camping Get Togethers section of the forum as a new topic.  From there, members can continue the discussion as usual.

Also, If you are posting an event the usual way, go to the very bottom of any forum page, you will see a Link To Calender link that will take you to a page where you can post the event to the calender and also have attendees sign up.  This will post the event to the thread in the  topic. 

When you post an event in the calender, in the subject line of the event, put in the location of the event and the dates so that members can see if it is an event they are interested in.  If you are just planning a quick get-a-way, don't be afraid to add it to the calender.  You may find yourselves with some pleasant company while you are camping!

Please place the dates of the event in the subject line of the main post that will be marked Sticky.
Also, drop me a PM so I can set the event Sticky so that is stays at the top. Only the main thread for the event will be set Sticky.
