Tire change

Maybe a dumb question but where do you jack up the camper to change the tires ?

That's  a good question. I didn't pay attention this past summer when Mike was changing flat tires. I was too busy watching and directing traffic around us, so he wouldn't be killed. Flats never seem to happen in a safe place. Oh, and carry TWO spares if you have them.

According to the manual, you disconnect the trailer, lower the tongue as far as you can, extend the rear stabilizer on the side of the trailer with the flat and then raise the tounge until the wheel comes off the ground. When I put new tires on, I just used my floor jack on the frame. If I ever have to out on the road, I'll just use my truck's bottle jack on the frame.

Thanks thats what i thought. I ordered new rims and tires and was going to jack from the axel just enough to get the old ones off so i dont have to close the camper up because im doing work on the inside also any comments on that?
