Replacing bearings and tires on 66 buffalo
« on: May 26, 2015, 07:03:04 PM »
Planning a trip to the alive festival in ohio in mid june and am servicing the bearings and replacing tires (as well as a few other projects)

both wheels had only 1 bearing. is that normal? i thought there were usually 2? is there a part number associated with this year?

the current tires are 5.70-8 2ply B rated tires (max load of 715lbs @50psi). that sounds light to me... how large of a tire can i go to before it hits the wheel well and what are the best places to get the wheel tire combination?

I just bought three tires and wheels from http://recstuff.com/.  I have delt with them before.  The prices are very good and they will mount the tire on the wheel for free if you buy them together.  I bought three four ply tires and three wheels and the total was 111.00 with shipping.

Lets stop thinking about limitations and start thinking about possibilities.
