2018 California Apache Roundup

Sorry guys I could not put together a California roundup in 2017, but I think we can plan a California Roundup in 2018, any suggestions as to where we can hold it? and what weekend is best?

I would plan it like Redwood did.  Around the 21 of June, the summer solstice.
Pick the date early.  Before we hit Sequoia at the last roundup we stayed at San Siemen and it was empty.  Maybe because of no elec.

Rod, I would like it to be somewhere we can still go and fish for the Golden. I know you said that place is small but maybe some camp site nearby. How's about Kings Canyon? I hear that is the best kept secret. I heard is was very nice and peaceful?

How about 3 Rivers again, shade, fishing, swimming, and Sequoia National park.

It has been quite a few years since I attended a roundup and it seems like every time I check I just missed it, so what?s the word on the roundup for 2018.

The DW and I will be camping at Summergrass bluegrass festival in San Diego the weekend of August 18.  There should be plenty of dry camping spots available if there are any other Apache owners who love bluegrass music.
