I booked my site today, site 329; my usual site 331 was already booked, which sucks.  Still, I have a 30 amp site.

Cloudy skies and rainy weather did not deter the spirit of the Apache campers, as they feasted on great potlatch Sat. evening. Seven Apache campers and one new unit were there. Some fully restored and others in need of a restore. Three of the original group-of-7 were there from the 1st. Norwich 2001 campout.(MikeP,MarkD and LesF). Old camping stories were shared and past members remembered.
Some Apache glue was still evident in the friendly talk and around the warming campfire. Red
Apaches are environmentally friendly & leaders of the pack.

Just learned some sad news....
Jim Hopkins of Brantford Ontario has passed away, last November 2019. I spoke to his dear wife Betty and daughter this morning and stated my sad regards . Jim was one of the original 'group of 7 members' to attend the First Canadian Roundup, back in 2001, held in Norwich Ontario.
Jim was a c&w guitar player, singer  and instument maker. He attended many Apache Roundups and provided great around-the-campfire entertainment. Jim was was proud of his 1978 Apache-(Dodge- motorhome), which he stayed in at every Apache Roundup.

I'm sorry to hear this, Red. Not that I know you guys, but it's always sad when a member passes.

I've tried to make the Ontario round up for the past three years, but things always seem to get in the way. Do you think you'll have one again this September? The virus is changing an awful lot of things around for folks so I thought I'd ask.

Sean
