Original Apache Converter!
« on: May 17, 2010, 08:43:07 AM »
This May long weekend is going to be our first outing with our 72 Ramada I bought last fall. Been busy with gear box and chain replacements and wall hinges, now I am inside!!! LOL
I installed a new double 12V ceiling light and cannot get it to work, a picture of my converter is posted. At the moment there is not a battery in the unit.
My converter is a 10 amp service, is there anyway to up that without getting a whole new converter?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Jim    ;D

i also have a 72 ramada and i am in the process of uping to 30 amp service using a household style box and some 15 amp fuses with the 10/3 30 amp ends... it is pretty easy so far. only trouble has been at the fuse box itself. all the wires can be a headache.

Hello Cleat 22

That would be great. It also appears my converter is not putting out 12V power when plugged into city power so I was considering putting in a deep cycle battery so if you have any wiring info on that I would appreciate it.
It looks like one was never wired in my trailer by any of it's previous owners  :(

Sounds like you had a good trip too, that's great!!!
