Had 32* again this morning with "frost", supposed to get a little warmer through the weekend. After the sun came out the sky was a beautiful blue and the tempt was warm.  Got the ranger packed and am pulling out in the morning for Bryson City. Hoping to meet all of the 'apaches'.

Just got home from The 10-12/14-2012 Apache Round-up in Bryson City, NC.  Could not have had a better time!  The ride (5 1/2 hours) was a bit long, got in late Friday Night. Did not know I needed a 30amp blug converter! homer (Tommie) came through and let us tap into his power for the night. homer (Tommie) was a world of knowledge (wisdom as he puts it). Thanks again for all your help Tommie.  Kayla (Wagonmistress) really had it all together! Thanks to her and huby Mike for getting this all together!  This was really and great campground to have the Round-Up and all the folks attending made you feel really welcome. To Kayla & Mike, Tommie & Judy, AJ & Brandon, Neal & Alex, Thank you ALL!

Fellow Campers:
We had a fantastic time with you'all. Really Great! Kayla, I had a brain storm coming home.......You and Mike can go looking for orange halloween lights and etc to match your color scheme ? ?  especially the day after for cheap sales. Sure did appreciate all the fun, food and fellowship, made for memorable moments. The potluck was delicious and scrumpdillyumpsiousxpealidocious ? very tasty, looking to when we can do this again. Was a pleasant camping time, beautiful weather, not too cold, not hot. People don't know what they are missing.
All had common interests. Neal, Alex, Kayla, Mike, AJ, Brandon, Steve and Suzanne were really friendly.  Seemed like we had known each other for quite a while.
BEAR: I was happy to help you and the missus, just anytime. Great people have helped me and I just try to pass it on. Us being the oldest there, we need to share with others the info we have gleaned over the years because we never know when the last time is. That electrical camping experience is something new to us , so we have to learn as we go. Takes a whole new list of takes and leave home things. It was all fun, ready to give it a try again, hoping that a lot more APACHES join in the outing. Thanks to all for the fine weekend getaway.

We are hoping to establish the date in the next few weeks.  The location was great so Homer and I are both voting for it again.

It was great meeting new apache friends - Neil, Alex, Steve & Suzanne! And seeing Apache owners I'd met previously: AJ, Brandon, Tommie & Judy :)
Tommie you, Aj & My husband all think alike as you all mentioned the halloween orange lights! Thanks for thinking of us!
And tell Judy I'm still thinking about how delicious her berry crumble was!

And now we all know to have a convertor plug for next year :)
