Living hinge extrusion replacement

Can anyone recomend what glue to use to replace the extrusions. I have the extrusions and am getting ready to remove the old and all I can figure to do is glue the new ones. What glue is strong enough.
Thank you

Hi,
I see that you have a 76 model, which extrusions do you mean? If you are talking about an ABS extrusion, have you considered MEK paste as the glue?

I guess I should have been more specific, sorry. I am replacing the bed end cap ABS extrusions. I considered the MEK paste but am still new to the Apache repairs and haven't messed with that stuff yet. If that is the best I am going to learn the fun of MEK "goo" as I have seen it called.

I took all 4 bed end caps off, put 2 layers of fiberglass over the entire outside of them, then painted them a gray primer (which pretty closely matches the original color), now they are very strong, & not brittle like they were before.

I hope to have pics of them one of these days, then I'll post them, so all can see. They're not the greatest quality, but they do the job.

Are the endcaps made out of ABS or some other type of plastic?
