75 ramada leaks at bed ends
« on: September 13, 2009, 09:12:47 AM »
Hello everyone, I'm new to this site so bare with me...

My wife and I just purchase a 75 ramada that needs a little work, we took it out with the family and found a few unexpected leaky spots... I have already replace the "road seal"... the seal around the roof that sits on the top of the bed ends but it still seems to be leaking in the corners by the upper hinge and around the lower corner of the windows.  I know that there are some small cracks in the fiberglass around the windows so I should be able to fix that easily... once I know how to remove the end windows and any suggestions for the leaky corners?

Thanks,
Carl

p.s. this site is a awesome

Carl,
Congratulations on the Ramada. That's a great model Apache. As far as the leaks be aware that the plastic is ABS so to repair them you need to use the mek/abs mixture to fix the cracks. To fix ABS use ABS. There's alot of information on ABS repair on this site.
