Question about making own living hinge
« on: April 02, 2010, 11:12:22 AM »
I am going to make my own living hinge using the tubular webbing and either welting or clothesline.  My question is how thick should the welting/clothesline be?  I've seen 5/32" and 3/32".  Any thoughts?

I bought the 5/32 welt at Hancocks fabrics for 39c a yard. And a pre-cut 35 ft package of 1 inch tubular webbing online from REI for $13.65. I ordered it and picked it at a local store so the shipping was free.
