Finally got my AC window unit done

(1/3) > >>

Raygor:
Having a Ramada with a counter I figured I could make something like John's idea with PVC. Most of the weight is on the counter top anyway. I posted pictures, sorry they are not in order. I don't know how to do that yet. But I glued up a pvc frame and painted it Shell White. The two pieces that stick down are not glued so I can take it apart and store flatter. Made a window for above it that a screen and plexiglass fit into. I used storm door latches on the outside so if it cools down with the AC in, I can remove the plexiglass and have some air flow through the screen. On the inside I latched the window shut thanks to Wallywag2000 for sending me a free one. Works great. The AC is a GE 10,000 btu that weights 65 lbs. Here are the pictures.
