hello everyone!
our apache came with 0 cushions. I was planning on using old couch cushions, or a futon mattress for the bed area, but I dont have time to gather them before we camp. Do ya'll know if a double air mattress will fit in there?  ???

what model? If a 48" wide bed model then no a double or "full" is a bit wide.  though looking at the various ones that Wally World had among the various brands of air mattresses on the shelf no 2 of them were the same dimensions even though they were all "full" or all "queen" as the case may have been...
My cushions were shot but better than nothing. I bought new foam and had covers made for them before the Roundup last month. 
I threw away 2 sets of these cushions,  one from a 78Mesa and the other set, the originals from my 76 Mesa this year.... the difference was color and pattern between the 2 years' campers.
