Need a roof vent cover
« on: September 07, 2018, 01:57:10 PM »
The cover on my 1976 Apache Royal roof vent blew off somewhere on Hwy 101 in Mendocino County on my last trip. The colorful upside down bowl I put on the top of the trailer in my driveway is attractive but isn't going to travel well.  Where can I get a roof vent cover?  I checked ebay and there are some cracked ones for sale, but I'm wondering if there is a better source for these. Thank you!

Good luck.  No one makes a replacement for it.  Your choices are to buy  one off ebay or eplace the fan with something else, like a Ventline.

someone had 2 or 3 of them on Flea Bay over the past couple of weeks....

at one time there was talk of someone getting a batch of them reproduced, I remember there was a post asking to gauge interest in this. IDK if that ever went anywhere.

That was Timsch that was going to make them but he lost interest. If you see one on Ebay, better buy it.

If there is still any interest in a roof vent here is a link to a Ventline product. I'm not sure about the measurements or even if it's a close fit.
