Replacing Hinge Extrusion

Ok - I ordered the extrusion from Apache Sales and now I am not sure how to best mount it back on my bed end panel.

I think it should go exactly where the shadow is from the last extrusion -- you can see the shadow here:



This is what it would look like when I fasten the extrusion down:



It also has the capability to slide on the end of the ABS - like so:



Should it go on that way?  it seems to have a big lip on the opposite side when I mount it that way.



Thoughts?  Do I have the right extrusion?

   I don't know if that is the right extrusion or not, but you do not want you living hinge on the outside of the bed end wall. Which is what it looks like to me in the second way you are talking about mounting it. Assuming that it is the correct extrusion I would mount it in the "shadow" of the original.
